The volunteer squad “Speak Russian with Us” promotes the Russian language and culture among foreigners. Since our squad is joint, we work together with students of Secondary School No. 2. This provides an excellent opportunity for our university students to develop mentoring skills.
Together we organize cultural events not only for BSPU’s international students but for all foreign students in Blagoveshchensk. We also run online educational events for schoolchildren and students learning Russian as a foreign language outside Russia. Squad members have many opportunities to develop their personal and professional qualities. We interact with international students, which allows us to see the world from the perspectives of different cultures and mindsets.
