About the faculty
The Faculty of Foreign Languages was established as an independent structural unit on May 7, 1960. Over the past 60 years, the faculty has trained thousands of foreign language teachers. Most of the faculty's professors are graduates of the faculty. Currently, the faculty consists of three departments: the Department of English Philology and English Teaching Methodology, the Department of Romance, Germanic, and Oriental Languages, and the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language.
The purpose of the activity is to increase the motivation of young people to learn foreign languages, to develop an interest in the culture of other countries among schoolchildren and students, to form intercultural competence among students, and to expand international professional and friendly contacts.
The traditions of international cooperation play a special role in the activities of the faculty.
Internships: Students of the faculty can undergo language internships in the countries of the languages they are studying (Germany, France, and China).
Graduates of the faculty successfully work not only in Russia, but also in China, Germany, France, Japan, Austria, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and other countries around the world.
